Don't Hide Your Concrete Walls!

Use in your interior design.

Very few materials are as robust as concrete. Concrete is almost the most widely used material in the world, even more than wood, steel and other construction materials. But it is usually hidden except in the basement or garage. With recent trends, homeowners are beginning to adopt the raw beauty of concrete walls with various applications.

There are several ways to use concrete in industrial designs. For interior applications, smoother or slightly porous surfaces are best suited. It can even be played with colors by adding pigments or by changing the mixing ratio of the original components.

In the bathrooms or other areas, you place them on concrete walls, just like marble, and because it is a natural material it needs to be polished. Concrete walls create a warm environment and at the same time stylish and timeless material.

Concrete is also a strong material, so you don't have to worry about decay or corrosion. It is non-flammable and is a popular choice for fireplace edges. Concrete walls (and floors) reduce temperature fluctuations by slowing down the passage of heat moving through the structure. This can reduce your heating and cooling costs.

Bare concrete is often used as a feature in ultra-modern or industrial style architecture. But of course it may not appeal to everyone, concrete walls appeal to homeowners looking for a unique or unusual decor.
